Little Balls

The little balls of wool showing on my desk yesterday seem to have sparked some interest so I thought I would explain.  Basically, I bought a couple of skeins of a silky wool in the sale last year with the intention of making some little crocheted flowers to use on LOs.  I made one flower (which I now seem to have misplaced) then put the wool to one side.  Unfortunately the demon cat found it.  It's taken me months to untangle the mess and I've had to cut some of the knots to untie them properly which is why I've ended up with little balls.

In the meantime, I got bored with the idea of the flowers and decided to use some of the odds and sods of wool I have all over the place to make squares for an afghan.  I've made two so far.... it might be a while until I've got enough to make a whole afghan!  I am, however, guarding the wool from the nutty cat.

oohhh, I thought they were wool, but you ahve to ask when you see them alongside paper, huh?! Nice going though, and a really pretty colour!

It's a gorgeous colour. Fatal to leave anything ball like around a puddy tat isn't it :P
