WOYWW - Flotsam and Jetsam

If you want to know why I am showing my very messy desk, hop on over to our fearless leader Julia's blog to join the WOYWW club.
So, here is the debris left from my crafting.  The strange lady with the giant flower on her head was going to go on my wall hanging thingy from the last post, but I decided against her in the end, so back to the "interesting images and other stuff" box... when I get around to tidying away that is.  Not sure why I have 3 pairs of scissors out, nor what I was planning on doing with the string.  Anway, there's all sorts of stuff laying about, chipboard letters, packets of beads, unmounted rubber stamps waiting to be mounted (yuck! hate that job), paints, glues, tissue tape, a paper stump, a file... it's a bit like the generation game, lol.  There's also a reel of invisible thread at the back there - though you may not be able to see that (ha-ha!).
Happy Wednesday everybody

I can see your invisible thread, it's right next to the invisible woman who made all the mess on your desk! Have a great day (even if you're working too!)

I still have an unmounted stamp Craig bought me over a year ago that needs mounting. I've used it - rollllled it over the paper - not quite the same. Think I should mount it as it's a beautiful image.

I can see the invisible cuddly toy from the conveyor belt :P

I also have at least 3 pairs of scissors on my desk at any time usually because I have misplaced the pair I was using!

Can you pinpoint the invisible thread for us, just so we can't see it for ourselves ;-) Glad your desk is as messy as mine though there's more of it on mine

Hi there, yes! a truly busy desk just love 'em, I know what you mean about mounting stamps, it gets on my nerves but they're so much better after:)xx

I have an invisible post now that I see the invisible thread.

I guess my question is, why do people mount their stamps? I love UMs so much more and they are so much easier to use. Of course, I'm a confessed NON-stamper, so that might be the reason (invisible grin inserted here). Happy WOY INVISIBLE WW.

Your desk looks like the desk of a busy crafter. Oh and I don't like mounting stamps either

Well, this is what a desk of a creative person looks like. Love the "strange lady". What are you going to do with her now? - Carola, 112

Hi Kay. Thanks for your help and advise. My first nursing job was care of the elderly so thankfully I am going into it all with my eyes open. It's not an easy decision to make for a family member [had to do it all for my mum] and we are finding it even harder for our neighbour but I'm sure we will get there....it's social services that just don't make things easy :-)
Hugs,

Another multiple scissor user here, misplacing the first pair I pulled out is my excuse too. Thanks for sharing your busy desk.
