... or maybe what's not on my workdesk, because there isn't much! The badge is one we were all given at the Artsy Crafts weekend all made up for us when we arrived :)
To make up for the complete lack of activity on my actual workdesk, I will show you another area with a sad lack of industry... my cross stitch corner. Each of the plastic boxes contains a cross stitch project. There are a few smaller ones piled up on the top left, and the lap tray on the top right has a long neglected bead weaving project on it. The big bag looking thing on the top left is a pillow case with a few actual completed projects in it.... waiting to be framed! My excuse for not doing any cross stitch for such a long time is that my magnifying lamp broke and my eyes are no longer up to working on 32 count linen unaided. (I know, that's pretty lame). I really should get back to work on some of these poor neglected things. I have some beautiful pieces on the go such as Carousel by Teresa Wentzler, Celestial Dragon by the same artist, Storyteller (TW again), Queen of Peace by Nora Corbett...... I really need to finish some of them! Help!
Anyway, happy Wednesday WOYWW, hope to visit you all soon.

You're so like me! I haven't done any cross stich for ages either 9don't have time with all this blogging....) AND have a huge piece to get framed.....
OMG Kay, and I thought I had a lot of half finished crossed stitch ad saved for for my rocking chair years!
wow,those project look really intriguing!
I've a few of those half done cross stitch projects - although I hide mine away from my crafting space!
Hi Kay
your desk is lovely and tidy, I would love to try crossstitch nut never got around to it!

Hope you manage to finish your UFOs one day. Counted x-stitch is very time consuming and working on linen is harder. I've been trying to complete a x-stitch project that's at least 6 years old! Have got a beautiful Queen of the Mermaids (I think) one to do but have decided I'm going to transfer the pic to fabric and use other emboroidery stitches to comeplete it much quicker.

I haven't done x stitch for years either, I ran a weekly x stitch group for 10 years and I think I just sickened myself of the hobby. I do still have all my stuff, and some partially done pieces and will get back to it one day.
Surely you must have bought some goop etc too! Come on Kay - reveal all! ;o) xx
busy craty space! I'm forgetful too, I'll have to start putting my name on things... and my address! Such a tidy desk! Have a crafty day
((Lyn))

Love that badge and that weekend sounds as though you had a great time. Have already read about it on someone else's blog.Seems I'm not the only one who has unfinished stuff then! Hugs bettyXXX
Very tidy workspace. Hugs Pam
That looks like a lot of projects, hope you find some mojo to start again!
I am reluctant to admit that the last time I did any cross stitch was while in labour with Ella (now nearly 14!) I remember it too well, we had friends over watching the cricket on TV. I was 2 weeks overdue and I was trying hard to pretend i was not in labour. (teeth marks remain in the pencil in the pattern box) they left. 2 hrs later Ella arrived! LOL However I only have 3 unfinished projects unlike your dozen or more! Leandra
Kay, not only do I not have any willpower - I have just had an email to say its on its way and will be here tomorrow!!
Wow ...what a lot of x-stiching ....when I did a little many years ago I never managed higher than an 18 thread count but a dutch friend sewed on very fine evenweave linen ....I couldn't even make out her stiches lol.
I am envious of your weekend of the previous post ....I so would love to go to one ....oneday. Loved you metal work bits.
Ooh youve got some beautiful shimmer mists there!
Keryn :)
What a lot of projects waiting for you! It's great that it's stored nicely in its own box. Patsy from
